This is one of our most amazing products.  Our Fair Trade Shea ("NKUTO") comes directly from West African Northern Ghana. This is completely natural, unrefined "Raw" Shea Butter. Our Raw Shea Butter is unrefined, which means it is not chemically processed nor does it have synthetics in it.  We use only Fair Trade which means our Raw Shea Butter is made by local African Women who employ other women, therefore supporting their families and community.   

 This Natural Rich Emollient which is the most generous to Skin conditioning is made with Certified Organic Fair Trade Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Certified Organic Cocoa Butter and the finest skin nourishing oils PLUS exquisite precious Essential Oils to pamper and repair skin.  This Creamy Shea butter will replace your every day hand lotion, especially for those with skin damage or more mature & dry skin.  Use daily after showering or bathing to keep skin youthful.  Customers have also found this Butter to be soothing and healing to severely dry, cracked, or damaged feet.  We have had customers to use the body butter daily on raised sun spots and they have actually found complete healing for their spots.  We also like to apply immediately after shaving or waxing to prevent irritation and to give your skin a silky smooth glow!

Our Creamy Body Butter will gently melt into your hands which will make for a very smooth application to your skin. A little goes a long way. Raw Shea butter has a low melting point, it is possible to melt in a warm room or during our shipping process in the summer months. Don't Worry! Your Shea Butter is still good!!  If melting does occur, re-stir the liquid and refrigerate until it sets back up. This is a very common occurrence with Raw Shea Body Butters!  Normally the Texture of Shea Butter is smooth & very soft but it can have a light grainy texture to it (remember this Butter comes from a nut)!  If your Body Butter is left in a cold room, your Body Butter may be harder than when it arrived. Apply to your hands and let the heat of your hands melt your butter. These consistency differences are very natural with Raw Shea Butter and proves you have the BEST!

The Qualities/Properties of our ingredients are:

Fair Trade Shea Butter:  Fresh Shea butter made by traditional methods is full of all kinds of botanical goodies like Vitamin A compounds, allantoin (found in aloe and comfrey), and circuminoids (anti-cancer compounds found in cumin) and catechins (catechins exert significant antioxidant power).

Sweet Almond Oil: Sweet almond oil is a great emollient for softening and conditioning the skin. It is well suited for eczema, psoriasis and itchy, dry and inflamed skin. Does Not clog pours.

Cocoa Butter:  Extracted from the seed Kernels. Helps reduce skin dryness and improve elasticity 

Golden Jojoba: Moisturizes skin while providing a soft, silky feel. Improves skin elasticity & suppleness. Contains natural Vitamin E. All Natural. Expeller Pressed. 

Carrot Seed Oil: Carrot seed oil has a formative effect on the epidermal skin cells, stimulates cell growth and therefore an excellent source to help rejuvenate tired, aged, dehydrated & damaged skin.

Bulgarian Lavender Essential Oil: Excellent for: Acne, bruising, burns, dandruff, dermatitis, eczema, fungal infections, inflammation, insect bites, muscle aches, psoriasis, rheumatism, sprains, sunburn, wounds.

Vitamin E: Our Vitamin E is a combination of alpha, beta and gamma in order to provide the most effective antioxidant for your skin!

Vitamin A: Vitamin A has very soothing and hydrating properties. Helps keep skin clear & healthy. Excellent source for dry or sun-exposed skin. 

Vitamin F: acts as a skin protector. Vitamin F consists of linoleic, linoleic and arachidonic acids, the 3 fatty acids your skin needs to keep it soft, smooth and protected from elements.
